Flexible Learning Path for Independent Students at LEO School
At LEO School, we recognise that not every learner thrives in a traditional classroom setting.
Our Self Education Program is designed for students who are capable of working independently, want more flexibility in their schedule, and still wish to follow a structured British curriculum.
This programme supports students in building responsibility, time management, and academic independence — all essential skills for success in higher education and beyond.

What Is Self Education?
The Self Education Program offers an alternative to daily classroom attendance, while maintaining academic structure and standards. It is not homeschooling, but a formal, curriculum-based education model in which students:
study remotely,
follow the same syllabus as in-person students,
and complete all assignments and assessments set by the school.
The key difference is that students access recorded lessons instead of live sessions, and study on a schedule that works for them.
How Does It Work?
Access to All School Materials Students receive full access to the LEO School digital platform — including lesson recordings, course materials, weekly homework, and teacher guidance through messaging.
Independent Lesson Viewing Lessons are recorded by our subject teachers and made available to students to watch at their own pace. There is no required daily attendance — students can organise their learning time independently.
Homework and Feedback Assignments are submitted through the platform and reviewed by subject teachers, who provide feedback and guidance just as they do for full-time students.
Exams and Assessments Students sit internal school exams at the same time as their full-time peers — either once per year in June, or twice per year in January and June.
Reports and Progress Tracking Academic reports are issued twice a year, based on internal assessments and exam results.
Who Is It For?
The Self Education Program is ideal for:
Students living abroad or relocating,
Athletes, performers, or students with outside commitments,
Learners who prefer a calm, independent learning environment,
Students transitioning between school systems,
Families seeking flexibility without compromising academic quality.
A Different Way to Learn — With Full Academic Support
While students are not required to attend live classes, they are still fully supported by the school. They are part of the LEO School academic system, with access to teacher feedback, progress reports, and formal internal examinations.
This model empowers students to take responsibility for their education, helping them to develop independence, discipline, and critical thinking — all essential for success in further studies and life beyond school.
