Welcome to the start of the final half term of the academic year at LEO School.

This half term is always a busy one in school with both years 11 and 13 taking important external examinations and other year groups taking end of year school tests.
We are also planning the itinerary of the Summer meet up in London for any student and their family who is interested, as well as some holiday short courses which will be offered to our older students to help them to prepare for their examination courses.
Details of these courses will follow shortly.
Finally I would like to congratulate the KS3,4 and 5 students who took part in the recent Group Presentations.
The students were given optional subjects to pick from and work in teams to research, produce and present their findings. We were amazed at the high quality of these presentations and huge congratulations goes to the winning teams!

Feedback from our A-level sudents currently compliting their final exams
"I just want to say a huge thank you! It has been such a pleasure to have you as our teacher. I always looked forward to your lessons, no matter whether I was ill or having electricity issues, I still couldn’t wait for psychology class. You did an incredible job stepping in mid-year and managing all the gaps we had. Your materials have been so helpful, and you’ve supported us in the most thoughtful and effective way. I’m really going to miss our lessons, you made me genuinely excited to learn. You always made our lessons interesting, especially when we conducted little studies during psychology classesHonestly, I’m jealous of the students who will get to study clinical psychology and sociology with you in the future. And of course, I’ll miss you as a person too. You truly deserve all the respect in the world from your students. And even though you care so much for us, I hope you also remember to care for yourself."

"It was such an honour to work with you and be your student. Thank you for your support and help in studying and revision. We are immensely grateful for spending these months with you and discovering unknown concepts in psychology and sociology. Thank you for your patience in educating and teaching us. You undoubtedly and truly are the best teacher we had, we have and will ever have.
Despite it not being the “real” school and we didn't have an opportunity to properly experience the normal school stuff it still felt real, as if it is the only right way it had to be.
Even in 'offline’ school, in 11 years of studying I never had to experience any close connection and affection between me and my classmates and teachers. But here it felt real and I am infinitely grateful for this opportunity. You are THE Teacher and a perfect reflection of how a teacher should be.I never experienced a better form of teaching and, once again, thank you for giving us this opportunity, accepting us the way we are and doing so much for us. Thank you so much"
