Preparing for GCSEs and A-levels is one of the most stressful periods in the lives of students and their parents in the UK. And for a good reason: these qualifications are two extremely important and necessary steps towards a university degree (A-Levels is harder and more significant for university applicants because students have to choose and study for the subjects with which they will apply to universities).
Studies for GCSE examinations normally take place over a period of two or three academic years, starting in Year 9 or Year 10 for the majority of students, with examinations being sat at the end of Year 11, while the General Certificate of Secondary Education Advanced Level (GCE A Level) is obtained after a 2 year course usually starting at the age of 16.

Save My Exams includes freely accessible past papers, concise revision notes, mark schemes, and topic questions for all major UK exams - from maths and physics to English Language and geography.
Get Revising
It's one of the largest revision sites on the web. It contains almost 200,000 easily searchable resources like flashcards, revision notes and cards, quizzes, powerpoints, mind maps (some of them rated by teachers). All you have to do to access the majority of them is to register on the site.
Seneca
Seneca is a website and an app that are great for A-Levels preparation. It has such helpful resources as exam questions and topics, and uses flashcards with memes, sound and animation as well as AI technology to teach the material in an entertaining way and test a student in various ways. The majority if the content is completely free for registered users.
YouTube
There's a great variety of YouTube channels that are helpful in A-Levels revision and preparation, especially when it comes to subjects like maths, chemistry, and physics. This is just a few of them that are absolute lifesavers for students:
